We run the Manchester Young Carers Forum, called 'Young and Unique'. 'Young and Unique' is set up to support young carers in the City of Manchester. It is part of Manchester Carer's Forum (MCF). Its main purpose is to provide young carers with a voice. Young carers can have their say on how young carers' services are provided. This plays an important part in the decision making process, as well as raising awareness of young carers' issues across the City of Manchester. 'Young and Unique' meets every month at our Swan Buildings base, usually from 11am - 1pm. It is a chance for young carers in Manchester to have a break from their caring role and to meet other young carers who have similar experiences.

Young and Unique offers a break and fun by encouraging young carers to take part in social and educational activities, some of which have included;

• Drama Workshops
• Film Making
• Radio Workshops
• Outings / Events

All of which promote inclusion and the chance to meet other young carer's.
